Jubilee Film  Decided after much, that A. Pizer get further information from Mr Green as to possibility of running the film as a Workers’ Film and Photo League Production, and as to arrangements regarding payment of making negative and further copies and whether some arrangement might be come to with Kino.

Feature Film Meeting Letter received from Mrs Vorhaus, group secretary to Mrs Seruya, instructing her that the […] of the feature film meeting to this film in its final version […] arranged for Friday, Sept 27th at 8.p.m. at 28 John Street. Owing to misunderstanding with Kino regarding use of room for meeting the […] meeting was [not?] able to be held.

Still Photography  Proposed […] to call a meeting for Sunday, Sept 29th at 6pm at Secretary’s house to discuss finance

Room It was agreed that League accept Kino’s offer to share back office at rental of 30/- per month on condition League has use of […] proper cupboards – i.e. capable of being locked up and providing adequate space for apparatus etc:-

October 12th Meeting: Jackson reported that the F.S.U. room had been booked for this evening at the cost of 2/6.

Decided to ask Maltby to fetch chairs from studio Theatre and for League to pay cost of petrol. Jackson reported that Sewell’s film “Gaiety of Nations” should be shown and that Sewell would be there to give a short talk on the film. Further argued that Jubilee film & short film of Soviet Dances should be shown at the same meeting.

Debate Proposed Jackson, […], that a debate be arranged on “Films and Propaganda” between Klingender and Sec. […] Christian Film Society, & that Mrs Cummings of British Film Institute asked to take the chair. Argued that A Pizer should approach these three speaker and arrange details for […]

Advertising Argued that no money be spent on advertising meeting on Oct 12th . but that film institute Educational film Review, New Statesman, New Leader & Daily Worker be notified and asked to mention . Also that small publicity cards, about 12×8 inch, be ordered from […] with standard W.F.P.L. design, printed in such a way as to leave a space for filling in details of meeting advertised. That I Seruya be responsible for carrying out these decisions.
